At Habitat Homies, nearly all of our products are 3D printed in-house. This gives us complete control over design and production, so we always know exactly what goes into each item. To maintain consistent quality, we only work with suppliers who can trace and certify every batch of material.
We use PETG and ASA because they are strong, easy to clean, and safe for pets. These plastics will not leach harmful chemicals, even when chewed, licked, or submerged in water. Both are chew-safe and aquatic friendly, making them ideal for pets that explore with their mouths or live in humid habitats.
