How do I know if a treat is safe for my pet?

Check out the specifications tab on the treat page to get a full list of compatible pets. These are not exhaustive lists, contact us if you have a question.

Do you have product guides?

Most products are straightforward to use. Treats include a QR code linking to feeding guides. For more complex products like Critter Cubes, we'll email instructions and inspiration before your order arrives

Can I wash my hideouts and other homie products?

All of our homies and hideouts can be wash in the dishwasher on standard temperature 140F (40C). Air drying only, no heated dry.

What should I do if my pet chews or ingests one of your hideouts or other products?


Our Products are made from 100% PETG or ASA, naturally inert plastics that won't leach chemicals if ingested. If you’re concerned about a lodged piece, please contact your veterinarian

What shipping options are available?

We currently ship to the USA only on HabitatHomies.com. If you are interested in shipping internationally, check out our full shipping

Can I use Habitat Homies products under a heat lamp?

For use under basking lamps, we recommend ASA material. PETG is safe but may warp under prolonged heat exposure. ASA is not available on all products, so contact us for special requests

Do you offer heat-resistant versions?

For high-heat setups, we recommend ASA. It handles temperatures well beyond what's safe for exotic pets and holds up against UV exposure.

How do I know your products are safe?

We research and test every product with our own pets before launching. If a product or treat borders on being safe, we don't sell it.
