Your hamster, rat, or chinchilla will graze, pull, and nose through living wheatgrass in a way they won't with any dried treat. Red winter wheat sprout fast and grows dense, with the height changing over the course of a week.

All it needs is daily sunlight. Sprout it in any shallow container, or use a Critter Cubes growing setup for a repeatable process that works every time. Buy by the ounce and refill on rotation.
